The chairman of Emohua LGA, Dr. Chidi Lloyd distinguishes himself as the only LGA chairman in the present dispensation to conceive and conclude a road construction project in a community, with the completion of the construction work at the 1 kilometer Evekwu road with 2 kilometer drainage in Evekwu community (ward 14) Odegu, Emohua LGA.
For the first time an LGA chairman asphalted a road in any community in Emohua LGA since the creation of the LGA in 1991 and the very first time Evekwu community in Odegu is having asphalted road since the community was founded.
It might also interest you to know that Evekwu road in Odegu is one amongst the four road projects being executed simultaneously across Emohua LGA as conceptualized by the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd.
The project Governor of Nigeria and Pride of River State, HE, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, is expected to commission the Evekwu road as a special guest of honour to the one year anniversary celebration of the administration of Dr. Chidi Lloyd. on Saturday, 16th July 2022.
It’s going to be a carnivallike ceremony, as the people of Evekwu-Odegu in particular and Emohua LGA at large roll out their drums to welcome the Governor and the council chairman.
